My neutered male cat has a habit of jumping on top of the door where the glass is?
Does anyone know why you could be doing this because their claws are making marks on my door.
My cat is 5 years old and still runs around the house like a chicken with its head cut off. Also is castrated. I got it done when l was 4 months old. He is playing. If you want to stop taking a spray bottle, and when he goes there him.Cats hate water spray. It will stop, because he knows that if he keeps going up is going to get sprayed.

Every owner of a new cat asks "How much should I feed my cat?" Since all cats are unique, no one size fits all response. But here are some good basic guidelines.
How much food a cat needs each day depends on a variety of factors such as age, size and activity level, but a good rule of thumb is that a normal, healthy adult cat probably requires less than an ounce of food per kilo of body weight per day. The needs Total calories for an adult cat are in the area of 20 to 30 calories per pound. A cat would require about eight pounds eight ounces of food or total consumption calories from 160 to 240 calories.
Most veterinarians agree that a diet must include both dry and canned cat food. Canned food is higher the water content, that cats need dry food and help reduce tartar buildup on teeth. When calculating how much to feed your cat, including canned and dry food, both in total – for example, you could play an eight-ounce food needs with four ounces of canned food and four dry.
All major cat food brands include feeding instructions and it is important to follow because they are written for specific nutrients that particular food contains. It is also important to consider the stage of the cat's life. The kittens really need more nutrients than adult cats, pregnant cats need more food.
Do not forget to provide clean water for your cat at all times, especially if the dry food causes a significant part of the diet. If your cat does not seem to want the water of a designated water bowl, get out of some water-filled vessels in the cat-accessible spaces (as in the sink in the bathroom). Simply remember not to achieve for yourself in a morning of sleep.
Most cats like milk, but must be reserved as a gift, rather than being considered Main cat drink. Milk is not a requirement for health in the diet of an adult cat and many do not digest well. If your cat develops diarrhea after drinking milk, try substituting A small amount of cream. Most cats love, and the butterfat in the cream is really good for cats (small amounts).
Food twice a day is a good scheme, and for people who are away from home all day makes little sense – the power before you go to work, and feed on again when you return home. It may be helpful to keep a dish Catfood dry cat available at all times. Like us, cats tend to enjoy a snack.
Cats can be very finicky about cleanliness, and if your plate of food smells like yesterday that he may refuse food to eat. Ceramic bowls are good for cat food It will not absorb odors like plastic plates tend to do. Room temperature is best. The food is too hot or too cold can cause digestion problems in some cats.
