I had responded to this before, but apparently failed to quote that I have been practicing and studying the occult for 20 years leaving a link to my body of work, so … here is – if not the intermittent swamp gas or car (which you can definitely say there is no external source) may well be something paranormal trying to get ahead. If there smell or noise coming or air is cool, I give that may be of supernatural origin. For the air begins to cool quickly – this is a sign of a being paranormal. Instead to panic, also seek external sources. Often, a flash of red or orange can be the lights of the rear lights of cars that is reflected from windows. If you not experiencing a lot of noises and strange phenomena, then you should put to rest as I'm sure nothing wants to hurt you. If it intensifies, seek help from a real paranormalist or occultist.
