Travel to Barcelona with their children
Barcelona has to be one of the favorite destinations of Spanish for travelers from around the world. Children also tend to choose this enchanting city as their favorite when they get older. If you want to enjoy one of the best family vacation ever, a picturesque city like Barcelona is a fantastic option for parents and children. In addition, you can see that the Barcelona has an ideal climate all year round, with mild winters and warmer temperatures in summer. This is great because children can go to parks and beaches throughout the year which is a bonus.
Travelling with children Today is not a problem. In fact, quite the contrary! Children do not have time for boring you and the parents and their children can enjoy city as a whole family. In addition to the many things to see and do, Barcelona has some good beaches and mountains. Can it be any other reason must bring their children to Barcelona? You all have a wonderful time!
One of the best ways to start the day and throw the ball rolling is a visit to Poble Espanyol where children can have fun while they discover the streets and squares in Spain. Poble Espanyol is a place where some of the most charming buildings and monuments of all Spain are reproduced. Its narrow streets also hide a world full of life: the small shops, museums, shops, restaurants and green spaces, including reserved to play.
After visiting different parts of Spain without leaving Barcelona, our next stop would take the kids to the Aquarium. There may take a ride in a glass tunnel 80 meters to watch sharks feed. The Aquarium in particular is one of the largest in the world, has about 11,000 450 different marine species. Recently, a section for the Humboldt penguins aka Peruvian Penguin, or Patranca has been opened. In addition, children would like Explore play, an interactive entertainment and educational section of the Aquarium, with over 50 interactive things to touch, look, listen, investigate and discover nature. This can be a wonderful experience for both children and adults alike!
And speaking of animals – the next stop should definitely be the Zoo. Zoo Barcelona is one of the oldest in Spain. It was opened in 1940. Unfortunately, the main attraction of the zoo, Snowflake – a beautiful and unique albino gorilla died in 2004, but many other animals can enjoy, such as dolphins, lions, tigers and many more.
The Zoo is located in one of the most beautiful parks Barcelona and charming, The Citadel. It is one of the largest open spaces in the city and a must for both you and your children. Walking through its streets and gardens is a real pleasure. Inside the park, there is a lake where children can sail in a small boat. Then you can visit the Geology and Zoology Museums the park, too.
After strolling lazily through the Park de la Ciutadella, why not take their children to the cinema Imax. It is a large format film set in Port Vell – not far from the park. The projections take place in a special display of 600 square meters. You also need to use special 3D glasses so they can enjoy the magic of IMAX.
Do you want your children to a culturally refreshing afternoon? If so, why not take Cosmocaixa. This is the Museum Science in Barcelona. Visitors are invited to interact and engage with the many scientific experiments. This is a firm favorite with many schools in Barcelona and becomes whole experience richer and more entertaining, especially for children.
The Nou Camp is a must especially if you're a football fan. The Nou Camp Tour is the best way to experience the FC Barcelona from the inside. This tour takes you through the features past and present of an emblematic stadium and a visit to Museo del FC Barcelona. The set of silverware in the exhibition is literally amazing!
If you and your children are fond of amusement then you need to take at least one day of travel. You can go to Parque del Tibidabo, a beautiful and charming theme park, which has the most breathtaking views of the city. The theme park has about 100 years of history and the goal of the Tibidabo Amusement Park is to make sure your expectations are exceeded. If you feel more adventurous you can travel to Port Aventura. It is located in Tarragona, which is outside Barcelona and a half hour drive will get you there. It is a theme park full of adventures full of action from the four corners of the globe: the Far East, China Imperial, exotic Polynesia, Aztec Mexico and relaxed Mediterrania.
Finally, you and your children have to go to Las Ramblas, the most famous street in Barcelona. Starting from Plaza Catalunya and goes all the way to the statue of Columbus. Your children will surely have a great time looking at the newspaper stands with its many memories, the flower stalls and animals, and all kinds of street performers that are stained and appear to be statues – very funny.
