The Buzz
Paris, commonly known as the City of Light, is well known as one of the cities of fashion, beauty, and romantic in the world. In its blend of ancient architecture and modern cozy cafes to high end, it is certainly something to please everyone within the walls of the city. The city is almost circular in shape, surrounded by hills on all sides, and divided in two by the Seine. To go to Paris without buying is impossible. Covered high department stores, the capital of the fashion world, lives up to its reputation. However, if you're planning to shop in the city, come prepared to spend a decent portion of money. Paris is one of the most expensive cities in the world. For dinner, the first six districts of the city have the largest selection of restaurants. Trendy, upscale restaurants may require reservations in advance, and often the best places to eat are the cafes on the corner where you'll find many local restaurants. The more tourist-oriented restaurant is, the higher its price. Paris is also a city of consumption, and not have to go far to find a bar or nightclub. There are many places that are popular the afternoon drinkers, like the Bastille, however, most bars and clubs in Paris are open until around 6 am.
