What can I do with a red cardinal runs continuously in our sliding glass doors?
The bird is flying only when it is difficult … but acts as if trying to enter any house or sees himself in the glass … is driving me crazy! The cardinal's not flying in it, but falls right in the "flying" in place. I think Deke is right that he thinks he sees is another cardinal territory. I have no window covering at the door and do not really want to put anything up …
Based on your description of his behavior, I suspect he thinks it is seeing another bird (its own reflection). Cardinals are territorial, and when he sees his own reflection in his opinion another man has invaded their territory, and we must drive them out. The decals work, but only to keep the birds accidentally flying glass. If you can still see his own reflection, still tries to attack. Summers coming, you can try to hang a bamboo roll-up or similar outdoor shade on the window. It will block the reflection of the birds and help keep your home cooler in summer. There are also dummies owl can get to ward off pigeons. The presence of the owl can make the cardinal to enter flight mode so instead of fighting and stay away from her window.

One has only to consider past practices of how miners used canaries as an indicator for air pollution levels in the mines of birds to detect how they are prepared to your environment. If Canary expire, while in the mines, which would alert the miners that the air was at a healthy level with ample time for miners to leave. While the birds are sensitive creatures, is also known to survive some homeowners.
Like the birds found in nature, pet birds are sensitive to odors also unhealthy. Appliances and common elements, such as Teflon pans, aerosol sprays and even polishing friendly furniture can be deadly for birds. One of the best practices when dealing with substances that emit unpleasant odors is for use in ventilated areas away from their birds.
Pet birds have a natural inclination to chew and can be a major problem. When a bird bites the weld spots in points soldiers, poisoning Lead is a common result. In addition, birds have a tendency to chew on potted plants. Despite popular sentiment, the poinsettia plants not are fatal. It is important to remember that if you are unsure if a plant is toxic or not is better to err on the side of caution and move the plant outside the bird. A small pot harmless parsley, can be useful for the bird to overcome the desire to nibble on houseplants, since it is a safe replacement.
Fresh food that feeds your birds will do them a lot of good, however, foods such as coffee, chocolate and avocados are fatal to birds and should never be given such foods.
Since the holiday season approaches, most people bring a tree at home. Many might think that the natural habitat of a bird is a tree and have the belief that birds have an affinity for coming down on him. It is true that birds can enjoy this exercise, many pines could have preservatives or products chemical administered and prove fatal for your pet. In addition, electric lights and decorations can pose some type of danger to their birds.
There is a number of issues of precaution to see that if a bird did not have their wings clipped. First, all glass doors and windows must be protected in one way or another. The best way is with the curtains or blinds. An alternative to curtains or blinds is to place safety decals on the glass so your birds can say that the glass is there and prevent serious injury or even death. You should treat other large reflective surfaces and mirrors in a similar way when the pet bird is released its cage.
Standing water can pose as a form of danger as well. The bird can find its untimely end in a toilet or kitchen sink complete in about few seconds. If a bird is released from its cage, kitchen with a pot uncovered is particularly desirable.
Finally, always present whereabouts of your bird, even if the wings are clipped. In an updraft, even a bird with clipped wings can glide for some distance. It's easy to forget that the bird is perched on his shoulder, when suddenly the doorbell rings the door and rush to answer, but never remember to bring your birds to an open door, regardless of whether they are wings clipped or not.
