What can I do with a red cardinal runs continuously in our sliding glass doors?

Based on your description of his behavior, I suspect he thinks it is seeing another bird (its own reflection). Cardinals are territorial, and when he sees his own reflection in his opinion another man has invaded their territory, and we must drive them out. The decals work, but only to keep the birds accidentally flying glass. If you can still see his own reflection, still tries to attack.
